Matt joined RBC in February of 2018 as our Associate Pastor of Discipleship & Family Ministry. He, his wife, Leslie, and their two children came to Eugene from North Carolina. Matt and Leslie were married in 2011, the day after they graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. They went on to be missionaries in Guinea, West Africa for two years with the International Mission Board and then pursued graduate degrees at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina. They have since had their third child here in Oregon. In October of 2022, Matt became the Senior Pastor. Matt likes most sports but most notably basketball, disc golf, and American Ninja Warrior.
